“Hi friends! I just took Ephraim to his appointment with the burn specialist in the cities and am REJOICING with the good news! After I told him what happened and he knew how deep the burns were and based on the referral from his doctor up north, his exact response while studying Ephraim’s hand was…”I just don’t know what to say, it’s a miracle!” He said that the ER doctor at Crosby should have immediately shipped him to the burn center when it happened and that he would have done surgery/skin graft. He straight up said in his entire career he has never seen or heard of a case where a child had a “branding” (aka leaning on the heat source) incident with the glass on a Woodstove or fireplace where surgery wasn’t required and no long term damage. His final praise report, even though he did not have a skin graft which would have been the proper treatment… No more bandage, little to no nerve damage, and most likely no scarring! He just kept saying over and over that he is a miracle baby with a smile on his face. Thank you all for your prayers, God is good!!!”
